City of Lakewood

The City of Lakewood is located just west of Denver in Jefferson County, Colorado. They have turned to Underscore for more than a decade to help develop the branding, messaging and marketing strategy for many city initiatives, including the rewrite of the Comprehensive Plan for the city, a city-wide re-zoning project, a small business resource guide, and other projects.

Regency Student Housing

Regency Student Housing was one of the first off-campus student housing developments opened in Denver. The developer chose Underscore to create the logo and pre-opening marketing plan for the project. The logo incorporates the unique shape of the tower that sits on the property and utilizes contemporary colors and design elements to attract today’s college students. In addition to the logo, Underscore created collateral, mailers and posters to attract students to this new housing option.

Town + Country Cedar Homes

Families who choose to build and live in high-end, luxury log homes embody a unique sensibility that Underscore captured in the new logo for this 70-year-old design-build firm located in Northern Michigan. The logo incorporates architectural elements along with a clean font and crisp colors that point to Town + Country’s attention to detail and modern take on traditional log homes.

Tri-County Health Department

The Tri-County Health Department, composed of three counties south of Denver, received an HIA Program Grant through the Health Impact Project — a collaboration of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and The Pew Charitable Trusts, and Kaiser Permanente Colorado — to conduct two new Health Impact Assessments (HIA) and to develop an HIA program that will build capacity for future development of HIAs in the Denver metro region. Underscore designed a logo and developed a tagline for the HIA initiative, designed a website, and designed brochures that provide information about what HIAs are and how they are used to craft policy recommendations and enhance the planning process to minimize risk and capitalize on opportunities to improve health.
