Emily loves to work with businesses to help them craft and share their stories. Before founding Underscore in 2002, Emily held copywriting and account management positions at several advertising agencies where she worked with clients in the banking, furniture, agricultural, and education sectors. Emily holds a master of library and information science from Emporia State University and a bachelor of science in English and Women’s Studies. In her free time, she loves to read, eat doughnuts, knit sweaters, and ride her bike up big mountains. Though rarely all at the same time.
